What to expect
Notes on our calendar.
- Inset days are practitioner development days. Learners do not attend.
- Bank holidays and local religious observance are honoured — families should raise anything specific at onboarding.
- Mid-placement starts are welcome. Young people can begin at any half-term break, not only at the start of the academic year.
- Individual schedules are built around each learner's capacity and the agreed pathway — a typical week won't look identical for every young person.
Dates for 2027–28 will be published by February 2027.
